Kluskap’s Sacred Cave

Located along the north coast of Unama’ki (Cape Breton, Nova Scotia), the Kluskap Cave is among the most important places in Mi’kma’ki. A remarkable hike brings visitors down to sea level where Elders and others honour this special place. The caves face the water and visitors must be prepared to climb or swim to enter them.
